Administrative Team
Our admin team is responsible for the front end of Dawson Family Dentistry. From scheduling, billing, insurance, accounts payable, and marketing to generally making sure our practice runs smoothly, our team works hard to ensure our patients receive the best possible care.
Amy
Business Manager
I am the business manager here at Dawson Family Dentistry. I have worked at the front desk for 13 years and with Dr. Dawson for ten of those years. Working in dentistry started for me at a young age. My father was a dentist and my mother is a hygienist; you can say dentistry is in my blood. My favorite part of my job is getting to know all the patients and building relationships with them. There is something comforting about walking into an office and feeling like home.
I live in Danville with my husband, two teenagers, and my mother-in-law. Our oldest daughter, her husband, and our first granddaughter live in Speedway. When we are not busy with sports and 4-H we like to hang out at home and play cards, board games, or relax in our pool.

Assistant Business Manager
My first experience with dentistry was here at Dawson Family Dentistry. I graduated from IUPUI in 2013 with a Secondary English Education degree with a minor in literature. After working for IUPUI as a financial assistant, I decided to come to Dawson Family Dentistry. I have worked for Dawson family Dentistry for more than eight years now and love that it feels like a second family to me!
I have four beautiful bonus daughters and a little boy with my husband. We love spending time together as a family!

My favorite part of my job is helping patients navigate their care and dental benefits. I love everything about my job, especially the patients! Everyone on our team gives 110% in all that we do to ensure our patients are happy with the care they receive here.

I look forward to building great friendships with our patients and making sure that everyone who comes to our practice feels welcome and comfortable. The team here is great; very knowledgeable, and we truly love the work we do each day. There is never a dull moment!
My family consists of my husband Josh and my two children, a son who is 14 and a daughter who is seven. In my free time, I love to go to the lake with my family and travel.
Dental Assistants
Our dental assistants assist the doctors with chairside procedures while ensuring the patient's comfort. Their certifications allow them to place fillings, polish teeth, administer topical fluoride, administer nitrous oxide, and take radiographs. Our assistants help in all areas of the office where there may be a need in order to help keep the team on schedule.

I am the newest EFDA at Dawson Family Dentistry. I enjoy all aspects of being a dental assistant, especially being able to restore a patient's smile to something they can be proud of.
I cherish raising my little family with my fiancé. Together we have a busy toddler who keeps us very busy! In my free time, I enjoy trips to the zoo and camping.
Maria
I am an EFDA, and I joined Dawson Family Dentistry in October 2020. I graduated from the dental assisting program at IU School of Dentistry in 2007. My favorite part of dental assisting is getting to be "hands on" with patient treatment. I like the artistry in restorative work, and it is rewarding to achieve a patient's desired aesthetic result.
I am married, and my husband and I have four children, and a golden retriever named Bowzer. We enjoy watching the kids play all kinds of sports. When we have free time, we love to be outside; our favorite vacations are spent camping!
Jeanna
I am an EFDA and have worked for Dawson Family Dentistry since 2010. I have been an assistant since 1991. I started my training in a dental lab and continued through IU School of Dentistry, completing the expanded functions assisting program in 1996. I enjoy all aspects of being a dental assistant, especially being able to restore a patient’s smile to something they can be proud of.
I live in Clayton with my three children. We enjoy sports and being outdoors.

I graduated from Kaplan College in 2011 with an EFDA degree. I grew up in Browns Valley, IN and currently reside in Crawfordsville with my husband, Cory. We are huge animal lovers with aspirations of owning our own farm.
Tasha
I attended MIT for my dental assisting education in 2015 and continued on to Indiana University for my EFDA in 2016. What I appreciate most about my role is the variety it offers; each day presents new challenges and opportunities.
I am fortunate to have a wonderful husband and two sons. As a family, we greatly enjoy spending time at the ball field and traveling together.
Dental Hygienists
Our dental hygienists are here to make patients feel comfortable during their dental visit and to promote overall health and wellbeing through a healthy mouth.
Rhonda
I graduated in 1980 from Danville High School and IU School of Dental Hygiene, class of 1983. Caring for multiple generations is most rewarding and continues to inspire me.
My husband and I have two daughters and a son who have quickly grown from diapers to graduate school and marriage. When time allows, I enjoy cooking for family and friends, gardening, church activities, and serving my community.
Kassie
I am a graduate of the University of Southern Indiana, where I received my Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. I have always had a passion for helping people smile and dentistry was the perfect profession for me. I look forward to meeting new people and building relationships with clients who I’ve seen for years.
I am from Terre Haute and moved here in 2019 to pursue my career in dental hygiene. I currently live in Indianapolis with my pug Rudy and my cat Pretty. I love to go thrifting, read, and spend plenty of time with my family.
